Here is a peek at some of the work I’ve done as a graphic designer over the last 4 and a half years working at The Humberview Group. As an automotive company that manages 20 dealerships and 18 manufacturer brands across Ontario, I learned the ins and outs of the brand identities of many popular makes of cars. I was involved in creating digital ads, print and signage, and any kind of marketing creatives.

Why you should
hire Tera→

Why should you hire me? While the above images are just samples of the type of work I created in the past, the future is plentiful and I will only continue to improve. I acknowledge that, yes, I am one of the many designers in the Toronto area. And yes, there must be a sea of resumes and portfolios you are searching through. But, two reasons that I think you should consider me are below. I am:

Commited to lifelong learning

Anyone that knows me can tell you I am endlessly curious about things. I am dedicated to exploring expressions of creativity—I studied and continuously study design and its many subdivisions, I love to read books that specifically open up my perspective to new pathways, I am teaching myself to illustrate, furthering my knowledge on photography and other hobbies, and teaching myself instruments.

Commited to mastering my mind

To make a change, you have to change your own mind. To change a mind is through an idea. Ideation is at my core—it is something I have always been and will continue to be enthusiastic about. I pride myself on how much I genuinely enjoy applying methods of design thinking to different aspects of life. The root of existence is to think—and from this we learn how to connect, share, and create.

What makes me Tera.

Here’s more about me. I love art, yoga, collecting hoodies, photography, and holistic well-being (a value that my late 105 year-old, athlete of a great grandmother instilled in me). I have recently been enjoying meditation, learning to cook, exercising, playing instruments, and analyzing music and cover art. I am a big listener of music—live concerts are like soup to my soul.

Born and raised in Mississauga as one of three children to two dedicated immigrant parents, I know the value and payoff of hard work. Being able to live freely in a country where I have the opportunity to do something as simple as doing what I love as my profession is something I will never take for granted. I am determined to actualize the opportunity and potential this has given me—and I hope you take that chance on me too.
